Yes, NestMate is currently free. We don't process rent, deposits, or any payments between users.

You answer questions about your lifestyle during onboarding — things like sleep schedule, cleanliness, and diet — and we use them to compute a compatibility score between you and other users, so Discover surfaces people you're actually likely to get along with, not just anyone in your city.

Every user verifies their email and phone number, and that's reflected as a badge on their profile. Photo and ID verification are on our roadmap but not live yet. Verification is a trust signal, not a background check — always use your own judgment.

No — messaging only unlocks after both people send and accept a connection request. This is deliberate: it keeps your inbox free of unsolicited contact.

No. Other users see your profile (photos, bio, lifestyle info you choose to share) and a verification badge — never your email or phone number. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Yes. You can post an optional listing for a room you have in your own flat, browsable by city. This is separate from compatibility matching and limited to one active listing at a time.

Reports are reviewed by our team, usually within 24 hours. The person you report is never notified that you reported them. You can also block anyone at any time.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your profile from the platform.
